The ‘Training for Township Renewal Initiative’ (TTRI) was the first initiative of its kind in South Africa. It targetted township development practitioners and raised the profile of township development. It aimed to highlight typical, pertinent issues that practitioners would encounter and help to fast-track regeneration projects.

This course assists in understanding core objectives of township integration, restructuring and the range of development strategies and interventions that can be employed.
