This article highlights President Cyril Ramaphosa's call to local government to clean up its act after another poor performance review by the Auditor General of South Africa. He says that people residing in local municipalities are the customers and the services rendered to them should always leave them in a state of satisfaction. This was not currently the case as was revealed in the 2020/21 audit outcomes report.
