Multimodal transportation systems are essential for managing urban movements, linking various actors, institutions, and services amidst population growth, and shifting travel behaviours. This blog delves into different transportation systems in both London and Dar es Salaam. Specifically, students from the London School of Economics (LSE) and Ardhi University in Tanzania compared Hammersmith & Fulham (H&F) in London to the Ubungo Interchange (UI) in Dar es Salaam to analyse transportation patterns and assess the integration of new modes on existing systems and spatial accessibility.
