The Land Projects Database, developed collaboratively by Land Portal Foundation and the Global Donor Working Group on Land (GDWGL), serves as a vital tool for tracking global development funding allocated to projects aimed at improving land governance worldwide. This initiative enhances transparency by compiling comprehensive data on funding allocations, geographic distribution, and approaches taken by various initiatives related to land tenure, administration, rights, and governance. By integrating data from sources such as the Land Portal’s own database, GDWGL’s Land Governance Programme Map, and the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), the tool provides a user-friendly interface and regular updates, enabling donors and stakeholders to coordinate efforts effectively and prevent duplication in advancing land governance agendas across different countries.
