The Guideline on Mainstreaming Climate Responsiveness and Resilience into Urban Planning provides practical recommendations for municipalities to integrate climate adaptation and resilience into their strategic and spatial planning processes. It aims to help municipalities identify climate risk zones, incorporate climate priorities into development plans, and monitor progress in building climate resilience. Developed through consultation with key government stakeholders, the guideline is intended for local government officials involved in long-term planning, budgeting, and reporting, particularly in urban nodes and regional development anchors, to ensure sustainable and climate adaptive urban development.
