Bergrivier one of top councils

This media article describes how the Bergrivier Municipality has been rated by Good Governance Africa (GGA) as the second best municipality out of 205 local municipalities.This recognition was part of the Good Performance Index (GPI) for 2021 in South Africa. The municipalities that were being assessed were measured and rated based on their performance in three governance categories: administration, service delivery, and planning and monitoring. Bergrivier Municipality Municipal Manager said "We are constantly striving towards creating a prosperous community where all want to live, work, learn and play in a dignified manner."
