This report titled Beneficiary Experience Tracking Application (PDF, 21.3MB) underscores the significance of collecting feedback from beneficiaries, positioning BETA within the broader trend of utilising digital tools to aid government functions. It elucidates the role of beneficiary evaluations within the context of shaping human settlements and establishes the link between BETA and pivotal objectives of spatial transformation. Additionally, it outlines the process of implementing BETA, conducting surveys, and presents initial findings from the pilot phase, which examines the correlation between government investment and spatial transformation outcomes.

The establishment of the Housing Development Agency (HDA) aimed to strike a balance between delivering quality housing on a large scale by strategically acquiring state land and expediting the delivery process. Embedded within the Housing Development Agency Act of 2008, one of the agency's core mandates is to oversee the provision of necessary infrastructure for housing development, rendering it well-suited for conducting a comprehensive study on beneficiary experience. Furthermore, this report delves into two significant planning initiatives, the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of Sustainable Human Settlements (Breaking New Ground or BNG) and the Priority Development Areas (PDAs) programme, which provide frameworks for understanding spatial transformation in human settlements. By unpacking the objectives and outcomes outlined in these documents, the report sheds light on their relevance to spatial transformation efforts, thereby providing a holistic view of the role of BETA in fostering positive changes within communities.
