Guide/ Handbook

Africa, Europe, Asia

The aim of this book is to offer an architectural guide to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, with 17 chapters detailing each Goal's definition by the UN, its interaction with the built environment, and examples of architectural contributions through realized projects. While some of the cases address multiple Goals, the book's purpose is not to explore sustainable projects in their full complexity but rather to examine how architecture relates to each Goal. All of the cases are realized architectural projects, planning initiatives, and structures, with the hope that they will serve as a starting point for a discussion about how the built environment can contribute to each Goal.
