Cities and spaces are changing rapidly. To keep up and add value, public space in cities need to adapt and transform to address challenges of rapid urbanization, densification, climate change, social conflict, exclusion and disconnection from nature. The University of Pretoria coordinated a transdisciplinary NRF project on Regenerative Public Space. The intention of the project was to develop a process to guide the development of regenerative public space and a digital platform to assist the implementation thereof in practice.
You are invited to attend the final workshop on Regenerative Public Space. The aim of the workshop is to share some of the key lessons from various case studies and the launch of the Digital Platform for Regenerative Public Space.
