The DSI/NRF South African Research Chair (SARChI) in Industrial Development at the University of Johannesburg and the African Programme on Rethinking Development Economics (APORDE) are delighted to host two leading global experts, Prof Lindsay Whitfield and Prof Antonio Andreoni, for a public lecture on the topic: Green Industrialisation in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities

The speakers will be:

  • Prof Antonio Andreoni is Professor of Development Economics at SOAS University of London, and
  • Prof Lindsay Whitfield is Professor and Co-Director of the Centre of Business and Development Studies, Copenhagen Business School. Both are affiliated with SARChI Industrial Development as visiting professors
