Stefanie Chetty is the Director for urban policy and management at the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. Her role is to ensure that the Integrated Urban Development Framework (IUDF) is mainstreamed and aligned to urban policies to ensure successful implementation of the strategic goals of the IUDF. She has extensive experience as a town planner responsible for the development and the implementation of the Spatial Planning Land Use Management Act (SPLUMA).
