Biography
A freelance city planner and strategist with more than 25 years of experience working for local, metropolitan and national government. 20 years of this service has been at middle and executive management level. Peter has a demonstrated and successful track record managing spatial strategy and policy development and leading teams engaged in innovative, multi-disciplinary processes, tools and strategies. He is a former member of the City of Cape Town’s Municipal Planning Tribunal (MPT) and Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment Advisory Board Member (University of Cape Town). He has been active in planning advocacy, leadership and education; founding and hosting the Talking Transformation Podcast: “An open conversation addressing contemporary city building and spatial transformation issues in South Africa”.
